2025) ;Gogovski StefanMicevski-Ignat IlcheThe paper focuses on reviewing, exploring, answering and presenting the Christian norms and positions in relation to war and warfare from Orthodox ethical and canonical perspective. The Orthodox understanding of warfare and the use of force differs from the Western and secular ‘just war theory’, which means the way of the Orthodox attitude towards the problem of justifaing warfare is not present, because war is always seen as unconditional ‘evil’. The reason why the Church hasn’t developed a socalled ‘just war theory’ is because of the fact that The Church of Christ is always leaned towards peace. Thus said, warfare is actually understood as an unconditional evil, caused by pride, hatred and human abuse of the God given freedom. In no case could war, or an intiation of a military conflict be justified, for the reason that the Orthodox Church does not justify or favor the manifestation of evil in any of its forms, especially when it comes to a form of evil that is directly aimed at endangering someone’s well-being and life. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Iustin cel Nou de la Celie și a părintelui Dumitru Stăniloae(Editura Doxologia, Institut für Ökumenische Theologie Ostkirchliche und Patrologie, Universität Graz, 2021)Micevski-Ignat IlcheThe present paper, ”The resurrection of Christ and the death of man in the theological thinking of St. Justin the New from Celie and Father Dumitru Staniloae”, analyzes the significance of the resurrection of Christ, especially for Christians but also for all people in the world, from the perspective of the theological thinking of Saint Justin the New from Celie (Popovici) and Father Dumitru Stăniloae. The death of man is a real tragedy for contemporary man and is a reality for all of us. For Christians, death is a transition to eternal life and eternal communion with Christ, that is, with God the Holy Trinity. It is important for us to understand the significance of Christ's resurrection and to pass on its importance for understanding our salvation. It is the only act by which human life acquires meaning, especially nowadays when secularism storms people's lives. The teaching of the Orthodox Church about the resurrection can be a perspective to be considered by contemporary man, which will ease the worries of his daily life and the worries that come to mind the death of the body which is inevitable. Saint Justin the New (Popovici) and Father Dumitru Stăniloae are contemporary theologians who, by returning to the theology of the Holy Fathers, have updated the importance of the resurrection of Christ in their theological thinking. This paper highlights the topicality of the words of the two contemporary theologians written about the death of man and the resurrection of Christ. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Înțelepciunea – cel mai înalt dar al Sfântului Duh pentru omul care se îndumnezeiește(Editura Doxologia, Institut für Ökumenische Theologie Ostkirchliche und Patrologie, Universität Graz, 2020)Micevski-Ignat IlcheAccording to St. Maximus the Confessor, wisdom is the last and highest gift of the Holy Spirit given to man who is on the last step of deification. Man reaches it through the liberation of passions and virtuous life. When man reaches the moment of deification, wisdom reveals many mysteries about the world and God. Wisdom is a door to knowledge of man. In this paper I will endeavor to explain the significance of wisdom for man on the path to deification and his relationship with God, especially on the role of wisdom in knowing God and creation. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Григориј Палама и Варлаам(Институт за национална историја, Скопје, 2021)Micevski-Ignat IlcheThe dispute between St. Gregory Palamas and Barlaam underlines the differences that existed in their time regarding the knowledge of God and the confession of Truth. On the one hand, St. Gregory Palamas stands firmly on the side of the centuries-old tradition of the Holy Fathers of the Orthodox Church, who claims that truth is founded and validated through the spiritual church experience. On the other side stands Barlaam, for whom knowledge and truth are sensitive things and can be known through reason and logic. Their dispute is still very relevant today in the dialogue between science and theology, where there are differences in the interpretation of the concepts of reason, truth and knowledge. As then (in the fourteenth century), so today opinions are divided and there are more or less convergences and divergences. Can the dispute between St. Gregory Palamas and Barlaam serve as model in the modern dialogue of theology with other sciences? How can this debate helps us to seek the truth? We believe that the dispute between St. Gregory Palamas and Barlaam of Calabria contains enough arguments that will help us to understand the knowledge of God and the knowledge of rationality from an Orthodox Christian perspective. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
- Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Relația dintre credință și cunoaștere în gândirea teologică a Sfântului Iustin Popovici(Editura Doxologia, Institut für Ökumenische Theologie Ostkirchliche und Patrologie, Universität Graz, 2019)Micevski-Ignat IlcheThe relationship between faith and knowledge in the theological thinking of St. Justin Popovich. One cannot get to achieve the knowledge of God without faith. The knowledge depends on several factors among which the most important is faith. According to St. Justin Popovich, faith is an important factor in christian orthodox gnoseology, because faith is the starting point for knowledge. St. Justin Popovich tells us about faith that it unifies us with Christ and that is helps us to regain the trinitarian character of our person, reaching thus metanoia and theosis. Faith helps man to advance in knowledge, meaning faith and knowledge are interdependent in the gnoseologic activity of a person. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Viziunea Sfântului Iustin Popovici asupra omului ca chip (icoană) a lui Dumnezeu(Editura Doxologia, 2017)Micevski-Ignat IlcheSt. Justin Popovich, when talking about the image of God in man, refers to the creation of man in the image of the Holy Trinity, confirming thus the trinitarian character of the human person. The image of God in man is the supreme essence of the human being, the latter having been ment to be an unity, not just any but one full of mystery. The image of God helps man to become god by grace, to resemble his Archetype. The image of God helps man to look for the divine infinity, to long for God. This is why, man is such a great mystery. St. Justin Popovich tells us that Jesus Christ, our Savior, is the only absolute icon of God and of man. In Jesus Christ we find the true perfect image of man. The purpose of man, created in the image and likeness of God, is to become perfect as He is. In the theological view of St. Justin Popovich, Jesus Christ, our Savior, is „the only and ultimate criterion of man” because in Christ, man has found all his fulfilments.
