Abstract: Fishpond "Modric" is located on the path of Modric village, about 400 m away from the main road Struga-Debar. Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss Walbaum) has been grown in it. The fishpond has an area of 1200 m2. During the months of June, July and January next year microbiological testing of the gut content of fish were carried out. It is recommended more frequently cleaning the fish ponds and hygienic control of food safety, because coliform bacteria and bacteria of the type Escherichia coli were found in the gut content of fish during the months of June and July.
