Со помош на невромаркетингот подобро се разбираат одговорите на потрошувачите во процесот на селекција на дадени брендови, производи и услуги - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Perceived Position of the National TV Broadcasters in the Republic of Macedonia(2007)The aim of this paper is to give clear picture of the position that national TV broadcasters in the Republic of Macedonia hold, as it is perceived by the viewers i.e. citizens of the Republic of Macedonia. Currently in the Republic of Macedonia operate 6 national TV broadcasters out of which one broadcaster operates as a public broadcasting company and five operate as commercial broadcasting companies. On the basis of а survey conducted on 53 people age above 18 who filled in a questionnaire constructed on the basis of а scale from 1 to 9, the positioning map is constructed showing that some of the national TV broadcasters have good position in the customers’ eyes whereas some of them have bad perceived position which demand appropriate marketing activities to be taken. The results show that the position of each TV broadcasting company differs and is driven by 4 general variables: modern, old-fashioned (obsolete), oriented towards political issues and national interests, oriented towards entertainment and technological issues while other variables used in the survey play fundamental role in determination of the above-mentioned 4 general variables for map construction. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Western Balkans countries income convergence in the context of EU membership – dynamics and determinants(Transition Academia Press, 2019); Antovska, A.The Western Balkan countries face relatively low levels of income over a longer period of time, indicating insufficient dynamics and intensity of income convergence, compared to the developed EU economies. The issue of income convergence of Western Balkan countries is particularly important in the context of their EU membership. The paper tests the existence and dynamics of income convergence of the Western Balkan Economies using both sigma (σ) and the beta (β) measures of real convergence. The evaluation of the appropriateness of the income convergence dynamics of the Western Balkan Economies is derived on the basis of a comparative analysis with the achievements of the New Member States, Baltic countries and EU - 14 in the last 20 years. The results outline that Western Balkan countries are stagnating, and they have the slowest convergence. In addition, this paper makes an overview by fixed effects panel data model of the determinants of the convergence process in the Western Balkan countries to the EU-14, taking them as complementary part of this proces. The results show that Western Balkan countries should focus mainly on agriculture and banking sector reforms in order to speed-up the convergence process. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Real Convergence in Central and Eastern Europe: An Empirical Analysis(Faculty of Economics, Skopje, 2016); ; ; The process of integration of the former transition economies in the European Union (EU) is associated with numerous problems and challenges. The readiness and suitability of the country for integration within the EU is directly dependent on the achieved nominal and real convergence. Without this convergence, the integration process would face in the future risks of asymmetric shocks, which would generate poor economic performance in the absence of alternative adjustment mechanisms. This paper deals with the process of convergence of the Central and Eastern European (CEE) countries towards the EU and attempts to identify the main driving factors behind this process. In these regards, we first provide an overview of the real convergence through an analysis of several economic variables – rate of approximation of real GDP per capita and price levels, trade integration, harmonization of the economic structure and achievements in the labor market. In addition, we offer a formal econometric evidence on the main determinants of the convergence process, based on a panel data for 10 CEE countries during 2000-2015 period, estimated with fixed effects. The results of our study imply that higher savings and investment ratio, higher labour productivity, more efficient labour markets (lower unemployment) and macroeconomic stability (lower inflation and lower budget deficits) are conducive to real convergence. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Predicting consumer intention to use mobile banking services in North Macedonia(M-Sphere, 2019-10); ; Smartphones and mobile technologies are becoming increasingly available and affordable in the Republic of North Macedonia. Followed by this trend, many banks are providing banking services to customers via smartphones. They are increasingly investing in mobile channels by providing new mobile banking services. The penetration rate of smartphones is increasing globally and smartphones are the most used devices for access to the Internet in the country i.e. by 81% of Internet users in 2018, and mostly among persons aged 15-24 (91.8%) (State Statistical Office, 2019). Therefore, the goal of this research is to examine predictors of consumer intention to use mobile banking services in North Macedonia. In order to get insights regarding the user adoption of m-banking services in the country, a survey was conducted during April 2019 among more than 150 mobile users. The research model proposed in this study examines the influence of several basic constructs that explain technology acceptance and innovation diffusion. In addition, its originality and practical implications is reflected in determining the significance of additional constructs that are specific for the m-banking domain, such as social image and bank’s reputation. The results of the empirical study are supporting the proposed basic constructs of the model and some specific relationships are unveiled. By highlighting the usefulness of integrating constructs from different theories of technology acceptance, this research is a holistic approach representing a solid base for future studies on the adoption of new technologies in the country. From practitioner’s viewpoint, this research offers valuable insights for developing m-banking solutions. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Stock market efficiency in South Eastern Europe: Testing Return Predictability and Calendar Effects(IGI Global, 2018); This paper examines the calendar effects in ten South Eastern European (SEE) stock markets daily returns during the period 2007 - 2014. We focus on three calendar effects: the day of the week effect, the half month effect and the turn of the month effect. Specifically, we analyze existence of each calendar effect separately in the mean and in the volatility of the index returns. We apply standard regression models with dummy variables for the effects in the mean returns, while we apply GARCH(1,1) models with dummy variables for the effects in the volatility of returns. The results present evidence that the day of the week effects in both mean and volatility are present in nine out of ten SEE stock markets. Contrary, the half month effect in mean returns is present only in one SEE stock market, while half month effect in volatility is present in five out of ten SEE stock markets. The turn of the month effect in mean returns is present in six out of ten SEE stock markets. The turn of the month effect in volatility is present in all SEE stock markets. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, A coherent growth policy for Macedonia(Fridrich Ebert Stiftung, 2018) Macedonia implemented the neoliberal economic model through the transition process. It is characterized by the reduction of the workers’ rights, destroyed power of trade unions, existence of flat and low taxation, glorification of the foreign direct investments (FDI) and progressive replacement of the public health and educational system with private. This model failed to achieve the productivity growth and solution for unemployment, while it increases the income inequality in the country. The wage-led growth strategy could be solution for economic development of Macedonia. It is opposite than the two dominant neoliberal strategies: export-led growth and debt-led growth. Moreover, there is need for introduction of fair taxation and re-build of social safety net. EU should start to promote the element of the famous European social market model through the country’s integration process. European Commission in the last report about Macedonia used the term: “captured state”. The first step towards deconstruction of the abused institutions by the political elites is fiscal transparency. It should be accompanied by liberation of the control mechanisms over the people in power: strong parliament, depoliticized police, independent judiciary, free media and powerful civil sector. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
