Item type:Publication, Kİ COĞRAFYA, TEK RUH: İLHAMİ EMİN VE BAHTİYAR VAHAPZADE’NİN ŞİİRLERİNDE TASAVVUFÎ DERİNLİK(P A L I M P S E S T International Journal for Linguistic, Literary and Cultural Research, 2025-12)OSMAN EMINBu makale, modern Türk edebiyatında tasavvufî eğilimlerin izini sürmek amacıyla, farklı coğrafi ve kültürel ortamlarda yetişmiş iki önemli Türk şairi olan İlhami Emin ve Bahtiyar Vahapzade’nin şiirlerini karşılaştırmalı bir bakış açısıyla incelemektedir. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Emotions and Technology in Language Education: Improving Student Engagement and Performance(University of Constanta, Romania, 2025); The integration of technology into education has reshaped the traditional classroom by fostering a more inclusive, engaging environment that supports both students’ academic achievement and their personal development. A key factor in this has been the recognition of the importance of emotions in the learning process, as they directly influence students’ motivation and engagement, ultimately leading to improved academic outcomes. Studies in educational psychology note that positive emotions aid and improve learning, while negative emotions hinder it. This paper takes a closer look at how introducing emotional intelligence (EI) into technology enhanced education can positively support and boost students’ emotional well-being and their academic performance. Personalized learning, adaptive feedback, and mindfulness practices are crucial in creating a student-friendly and student-centred learning environment, which is essential for fostering holistic learning. As findings suggest that incorporating EI strategies in educational technology enhances learner motivation, improves performance, and creates more emotionally resilient learners, this paper makes its contribution to the field by bridging the emotional and technological dimensions of learning, offering both theoretical insight and practical guidance for designing emotionally aware digital education. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, ChatGPT in Foreign Language Acquisition: a close ally or a distant concept for Macedonian university students?(Vilnius University Press, 2025)Silvana Neshkovska, Lela Ivanovska, Vesna Trajkovska, Milena Kasaposka-ChadlovskaChatGPT has instigated a tectonic change in foreign language acquisition. The latest research shows that language learners use it to enhance their major language skills and boost their critical thinking, research activities, and exam preparation. Consequently, ChatGPT has significantly impacted all levels of education, particularly the tertiary level. This paper aims to showcase how Macedonian university students fare in employing ChatGPT for foreign language acquisition. The study examines whether they are sufficiently familiar with this chatbot and to what extent they use it in various language-learning contexts. It also explores students’ attitudes toward this novel tool for improving their language abilities. Insights are drawn from qualitative and quantitative analyses of data gathered via a tailor-made survey, which targeted Macedonian university students, the majority of whom took a foreign language course during the academic year 2023/2024. Even though only 180 university students from several higher education institutions in the RN Macedonia showed interest in the study, the findings reveal mixed student perceptions of ChatGPT’s effectiveness, with some recognising its benefits for writing, translation, grammar, and research, while others expressing scepticism, particularly regarding its role in generating high-quality writing ideas, improving speaking skills, and fostering critical thinking, and creativity.
