    Gli equivalenti del gerundio italiano e francese nel macedone

    Il contributo si focalizza su uno dei modi non finiti dei sistemi verbali dell’italiano, del francese e del macedone – il gerundio. Benché tutte e tre le lingue presentino il gerundio, ci sono delle differenze tra i sistemi verbali in questione. L’articolo mira a identificare alcuni aspetti convergenti e divergenti tra i tre sistemi esaminando gli equivalenti macedoni del gerundio italiano e francese in alcuni tipi di subordinate avverbiali. L’analisi contrastiva è basata su coppie di esempi tratti da opere letterarie italiane e francesi con le rispettive traduzioni in macedone. I risultati dell’analisi suggeriscono che in alcuni casi il gerundio viene tradotto in macedone con lo stesso modo, ma in altri casi, per vari motivi, l’equivalente è una frase subordinata con un verbo di modo finito o un’altra struttura. Il contributo verte anche sulle implicazioni glottodidattiche delle asimmetrie rilevate tra le lingue.

    Combining corpora with other language resources and tools in pedagogic audiovisual translation

    <jats:p>This study focuses on the potential of combining various types of language resources and tools in pedagogic audiovisual translation in university level courses. It argues that the direct use of ad-hoc corpora compiled by students can be combined with other tools such as bilingual dictionaries, online resources and subtitling software in performing concrete translation tasks. The study reports on the positive results of the translation activity conducted with students of the degree course in the Italian Language and Literature program at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje in 2018. The first part of the study reflects on certain tendencies in the field of intersection between language pedagogy and audiovisual translation and presents concrete examples of this type of pedagogic tasks applied in teaching Italian as a foreign language. The central part of the study presents various aspects and stages of the activity: its aim, context, choice of video material, the complexity of the language of the videos, the tools used, the translation strategies, the creation of glossary, the revision of the subtitles and the discussion of the feedback. The study concludes with the results of the questionnaire and potential prospects for enhancing the task and reuse of the translated material for compilation of parallel corpus.</jats:p>

    La présente étude est centrée sur les proverbes français, italiens et macé-doniens qui se présentent sous la forme d’une phrase complexe enchâssant une proposition conditionnelle. Pour effectuer la comparaison entre ces formes, nous avons d’abord parcouru les grandes lignes relatives aux systèmes hypothétiques des trois langues et puis nous en avons examiné l’application au sein des proverbes. Notre choix s’est focalisé sur la protase, introduite par les connecteurs principaux en usage dans les trois langues : Si, en français ; Se, en italien ; Aко, en macédonien. Notre but étant celui de vérifier si la construction conditionnelle est un modèle parémiologique productif, nous avons pu mettre en évidence une typologie diversifiée de ces pro-verbes qui se caractérisent, en français, par un lexique anachronique et une syntaxe périmée. Les perspectives de notre recherche se situent non seulement en parémiologie, mais aussi sur le plan strictement linguistique en ce qui concerne l’étude de la condition.
