Item type:Publication, Interreligious Dialogue and Cooperation between Faculties of Theology in Macedonia(Regensburg: Verlag Friedrich Pustet, 2026); ;Anev, Darko; Schön, DietmarThe theoretical framework for this research draws upon peace-building literature that emphasizes the role of educational institutions in transforming post-conflict societies. Religious educational institutions occupy a distinctive position in this context, as they simultaneously preserve theological traditions while potentially serving as bridges between communities. The initiatives examined in this study represent what might be termed “educational diplomacy,” wherein academic exchange becomes a vehicle for broader social reconciliation. Previous research has demonstrated that interventions targeting future religious leaders can have multiplier effects throughout communities, yet few studies have longitudinally examined the implementation and sustainability of such programs in the post-conflict countries. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Оправданоста на војувањето и шестата Божја заповед од православна перспектива(Православен Богословски факултет „Св. Климент Охридски“ - Скопје, 2025) ;Gogovski StefanMicevski-Ignat IlcheThe paper focuses on reviewing, exploring, answering and presenting the Christian norms and positions in relation to war and warfare from Orthodox ethical and canonical perspective. The Orthodox understanding of warfare and the use of force differs from the Western and secular ‘just war theory’, which means the way of the Orthodox attitude towards the problem of justifaing warfare is not present, because war is always seen as unconditional ‘evil’. The reason why the Church hasn’t developed a socalled ‘just war theory’ is because of the fact that The Church of Christ is always leaned towards peace. Thus said, warfare is actually understood as an unconditional evil, caused by pride, hatred and human abuse of the God given freedom. In no case could war, or an intiation of a military conflict be justified, for the reason that the Orthodox Church does not justify or favor the manifestation of evil in any of its forms, especially when it comes to a form of evil that is directly aimed at endangering someone’s well-being and life. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, The Thirty-year Activity of the Macedonian Bible Society, With a Special Focus on Modern Translations of the Scripture Into Macedonian Language(Occasional Papers on Religion in Eastern Europe, 2025-03-01); The Macedonian Bible Society was founded in 1993, but its activities began the following year. The translation and printing of biblical texts have been the primary focus of the society's work, and this paper aims to trace its three-decade-long activity through the lens of translations into the Macedonian language. Biblical translations are an integral part of humanity's cultural history, with many factors influencing translation processes over time. It is important to recognize that translation involves two closely intertwined elements: language and cultural context. In Macedonian history, both aspects are deeply connected to biblical translations. This text provides an overview of the history of the Society, with particular emphasis on the characteristics and significance of translations of the Scriptures into modern Macedonian.
