dc.description.abstract | This phase of comparative study has been prepared in order to present the method of conformal thoracic irradiation of locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Radiotherapy planning process is shown in detail. Its application has been made possible after the procurement of new accelerator line at the Institute of Radiotherapy and Oncology (Republic of Macedonia). At the same time, comparison has been made between the toxic effects in patients treated with sequential regimen (4 cycles of chemotherapy followed by conformal radiotherapy) and in patients treated with concurrent conformal radiochemotherapy. | en_US |
