Политиката нa Бугарија кон Македонија и ВМОРО 1904-1906 година

Abstract

The Macedonian question at the end of the XIX century and the beginning of the XX century took an important place in the Bulgarian foreign policy, but till 1904 there was no unique center where the entire Bulgarian policy toward the Macedonian question would be coordinated. For such purpose in 1904 the second political section was formed with the main task -dealing with the Macedonian works. This section-worked in the framework of the Bulgarian ministry for foreign affairs. Its first chief was Toma Karajovov. On the basis from the information’s and the learning received by the reports of the trade agents and other investigative channels, the second political section prepared planes and programs upon which the Bulgarian policy toward MRO and Macedonia was created. At the same time the second political section recommended means and methods to the relevant Bulgarian institutions for the successful realization of the Bulgarian interests in Macedonia.
