Abstract
The healthcare market has a wide range of activities. It connects all activities of the community and the individual against the factors that contribute to the negative effects of the disease and supports all actions, directly aimed at improved health. Planning, managing, organizing is essential for a health care market to be more functional and sustainable, with all the disadvantages oflimited resources and high expectations. This requires well-developed management strategies that will provide better health care. The good placement in the health care market implies responsibility and coordination at all levels of government and non-governmental organizations, legal regulations, health institutions as well as participation of professionals working on health issues, in particular as "marriage" between the economy and health care. This analysis covers the various aspects of the application of the health care economy, enabling effective, efficient and qualitative functioning of the health care market, as well as the strategies for managing the health care market in order to produce a sustainable health system. The goal of the doctoral dissertation is to investigate the theoretical and methodological aspects related to health care , with particular emphasis on the application of strategies and on this basis to assess the level of management of health care in general, as well as in the Republic of Macedonia. Taking into account the objectives of the doctoral dissertation, the health care market is observed in the context of using market management strategies, formulating sustainability strategies, development models and more profitable reforms.The theoretical and methodological research of the various dimensions is followed by an appropriate empirical research, which provides information on the practical implications of the strategy on the functioning of the health care market, by suitably analyzing the supply and demand for health. The research effort is structured using a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods. In the part of quantitative techniques, statistical analysis were used, and also the Delphi method is used, too. Empirical research includes 16 experts from the home area who are subject to this doctoral dissertation. Thereby, within the sample there is diversity in relation to age, the level of health care in which they work, and the ownership structure.
