Abstract
The paper analyzes the issue of labor market flexibility in the Republic of Macedonia, through the prism of contemporary economic theories (neoclassical and Keynesian), by presenting and analyzing the key indicators of the labor market, the supply and demand, labor market institutions in Republic of Macedonia and by comparing them with the situation on the labor markets in the European Union. The paper also addresses the issue of active labor market measures and possible alternatives for improving the labor market flexibility in the Republic of Macedonia.
