Деинституционализацијата на лицата со интелектуална попреченост придонесе за развојот на нов тренд во третманот на лицата со интелектуална попреченост. Низа закони и подзаконски акти беа изменети во функција на подобрување на квалитетот на живот на лицата со инвалидност. Следејќи ги меѓународните искуства, но пред се, креирајќи свој-македонски модел на деинституционализација, Република Македонија придонесе за реорганизирање на институциите за социјална заштита и ги разви вонинституционалните форми на заштита. Најзабележителни резултати се постигнати токму во областа на деинституционализација на институциите кои згрижуваа лица со инвалидност. Развојот на вонинституционалните форми на заштита е на добар пат, но потребни се многу заложби и финасии и од централната и од локалната власт за да бидат задоволни и децата, и родителите, но и вработените кои го покриваат третманот на децата со умерена и тешка интелектуална попреченост. Вложувањето во човечките ресурси значи поголема мотивација за работа и подобар квалитет на услугите. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Turkey(Faculty of Philosophy, Skopje, 2016) ;Nergis Ramo, Akgün; ; Special education system is designed to enable education of students with special educational needs. The curricula for children with disabilities are complex need in every educational system. In this paper, we analyzed the primary curricula for five categories of disabilities; intellectual disability; visual impairment, hearing impairment, physical disability and autism; between two countries Republic of Turkey and Republic of Macedonia. Our aim was to represent the curricula in the special education systems and understand the differences between two countries. Our main research question is: What are the differences in curricula for children with special educational needs in R. Macedonia and R. Turkey. In order to be able to provide answer to this question, we had to set 5 associate questions linked with type of disability and country. The result showed that R. Macedonia has 7 compulsory subjects that we can in all special schools, while others are either adopted according to category of disability or available with another title. In Turkey, 16 subjects are the same for all special schools. This qualitative research has theoretical, modern, comparative and descriptive character. We used the method of comparative and descriptive analyzes. The collected data was analyzed according researched questions, giving the appropriate conclusions and suggestions. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Parental satisfaction of children with moderate and severe intellectual disability treated in daycare centers(Association for support and creative development of children and youth, Tuzla, 2018); ; Modern trends of treatment of children with moderate and severe intellectual disability points to the need for improved treatment in daycare centers and other services for their support in the community. The biological families must be given greater support to prevent the need of institutionalization. In order to achieve social inclusion community needs to offer more services for children with intellectual disability. Using qualitative and quantitative research strategies we give the current picture of parental satisfaction with treatment in daycare centers in the Republic of Macedonia and take note of the main proposals of parents for improve functioning of daycare centers, but also the quality of life of their children and families in general. For this research we applied our instrument that measures the satisfaction of parents / foster parents after four essentials: quality of service, independence of children, social literacy and adaptability. Using focus groups, we got the biggest problems faced by parents / foster parents and stated their proposals. This survey covered a total of 145 respondents, of which 115 in the role of parents and 30 foster parents of children with moderate and severe intellectual disability. The research results indicate that parents are satisfied with the treatment in daycare centers, but still have a number of proposals from which they expect more support to children and the family as a whole. The role of the respondents had no significance in terms of customer satisfaction, as well as sex and education, a degree of intellectual disability of children is related only in part of the quality of services. There is a positive correlation between the quality of service, independence, social literacy and adaptability. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Macedonia, expressed through care, education and rehabilitation, begins after World War II. Before that, on the territory of present Republic of Macedonia there wasn't organized education and rehabilitation for children with special educational needs. In Republic of Turkey, the Ottoman period attributed great importance to the treatment of people with disabilities. In this paper, we analysed historical data of special primary education systems for five categories of disabilities; intellectual disability, visual impairment, hearing impairment, physical disabilities and autism in Macedonia and Turkey. The aim of our research was to make a historical overview of the special education system for all categories of disability in both countries. Therefore, the main research question is: In which of the two countries special schools are having longer tradition? In order to answer this question, we made five sub-questions linked with the category of disability and the state. The results showed that Republic of Turkey has a longer tradition of educating children with special educational needs for three categories of disabilities: visual impairments, hearing impairments and autism, while for the children with intellectual and physical disabilities, the treatment in Macedonia is organized earlier. This qualitative research has theoretical, comparative and descriptive character. We used the method of descriptive and comparative analysis. As a technique in qualitative research, we chose analysis of documentation of data received from relevant institutions. All data was analysed according to the research questions, setting the appropriate conclusions and suggestions. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
