To better understand traffic dynamics traffic models are developed. On microscopic level, carfollowing models are developed and improved during long period of time. They are used in traffic simulation tools or are the basis for operation in some advanced vehicle systems. Carfollowing models describe traffic dynamics through movement of individual vehicle-driver units. This paper compares Gipps model and Intelligent Driver Model (IDM) as carfollowing models based on driving strategies. These models are derived based on assumptions such as keeping safe distance from the leading vehicle, driving at a desired speed and producing accelerations within a comfortable range. The models are implemented and simulated in MATLAB environment and the results are discussed in terms of the ability to reproduce real driving behaviour in car following scenarios. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

ТНГ кпј вп пснпва е безбпен и е без мирис, е прпизвпд пд прпцеспт на рафинираое на други гприва. Негпвата упптреба се дплжи на дпбрите гпривни карактеристики и ниската цена на чинеое. Впзилата кпи гп кпристат ТНГ какп ппгпнскп гпривп се прпизведени сп систем за наппјуваое сп ТНГ или пак, се впзила сп бензински мптпри кпи ппстпрпдажнп имаат вграденп дппплнителен систем за наппјуваое сп ТНГ. Втприте се најчестп двпгпривни впзила, пднпснп имаат мпжнпст за префрлуваое пд еднп на другп гпривп вп текпт на експлпатацијата. Дп сега ппстпјат ппвеќе генерации на системи за наппјуваое сп ТНГ кај впзилата, кпи се развивале паралелнп сп развпјпт на технплпгијата кај бензинските мптпри. Гаспт за да биде вп течна спстпјба се складира при притиспци ппмеду 2.2 и 22 bar зависнп пд пднпспт на кпмппнентите вп негп. За да се запази безбеднпста, впзилата ппремени сп ТНГ системи, какп и самите системи за наппјуваое сп ТНГ се регулирани сп правилници на Екпнпмската кпмисија за Еврппа на Обединетите нации (UNECE). In certain conditions, in this engagement it may come to non-conformity in relation to the acceleration and braking characteristics of the combination because of design reasons. Therefore, efforts are made to achieve optimal braking performance, steering characteristics and stability through design measures and other engagement constrains of the vehicle combination. Considering the aforementioned, it all started from the suitability to determine the evaluation methodology on the impact of certain design factors to the passenger vehicle - trailer combination behavior in the braking process. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Continuous increase in traffic on the roads is leading to serious issues with congestion, safety and impact on the environment. This is especially emphasized in urban areas. Networks theoryhas been and is very interesting approach studying of vehicle dynamics in urban areas which can help addressing number of said issues. This research has also added regionaldimension which could help development and introducing ITS in similar environment. In this, early stage of research, the initial results showed that the approach of presenting road infrastructure as network (graph) in vehicle simulations proves to be good and opens opportunities for deeper research. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Increased traffic flow implies to increased pollution, which affects people’s health and the environment. In such conditions arises theneedfor planning and improving of traffic flows in urban areas, but also at motorways. Traffic modeling and simulation tools have significant role in achieving these goals. The inclusion of vehicle dynamics aspects in these tools is analyzed, because this research field is multidisciplinaryand includes aspects from different scientific areas. The findings show that there is a space for improving of traffic models by adding vehicle / road parameters which will result in more realistic presentation of vehicle behavior.
