Item type:Publication, BUILDING OF DISTRIBUTED RESTful SERVICES AND RESOURCES FOR AUTHORIZATION ISSUES.(Факултет за информатички науки и компјутерско инженерство, Скопје, 2023-10-25)Arber BeshiriIn systems, numerous services require access to shared resources. Ideally, under such circumstances, minimizing data duplication is highly desirable. SOA simplifies the development of such systems by establishing distinct services that can be utilized by multiple services (applications). REST is an architectural style rooted in SOA that serves as a basis for designing and building contemporary web services (applications). It provides a method for developing distributed services commonly referred to as REST or RESTful services. One of the key aspects of REST is that it is stateless, meaning that the service does not retain any information about previous requests. Typically, when developing a REST service for a specific dataset, we represent the whole data via the relevant service. In scenarios where enhanced flexibility is needed, such as those involving authorization and privacy concerns, should limit the dataset accessible by an application (service). To achieve this, based on the REST approach (style), it is implemented a dedicated service endpoint that can handle the required filtering. Following the authentication procedure, most web services-based applications use application-specific access control mechanisms to make authorization decisions. Services can interact with one another, sometimes relying on a trust-based relationship. However, if unauthorized access is gained to a particular service, it could potentially jeopardize the whole security system. In RESTful services, authorization plays a tremendous role in terms of security, so services are constantly charged with authorizing users. Security as an essential aspect of services affects that servers necessarily contain the authorization mechanism, and they must authorize each service for each of their requests. The management of authorization permissions is handled by a dedicated service within the distributed environment. Simultaneously, this approach facilitates the creation of more streamlined service implementations as the responsibility for authorization management is transferred to a central service, which directs all other services. A RESTful services’ authorization management framework is proposed and the possibility to manage service access authorization to specific services (resources) is described, implemented, analyzed, and compared. The study is concluded with the presentation of experimental results and evaluation derived from the implementation of the REST services based on the proposed framework. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings

Item type:Publication, Marital Property Regime in North Macedonia and in Kosovo(Faculty of Law, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, 2021)Alishani Sopi, DetrinaDespite the fact that marital law is one of the most important institutes of family law, this institute should be regulated in the best possible way. But this has not happened, because there are still many legal gaps and uncertainties in the regulation of this institute. These legal gaps are mostly presented in the regulation of property relations between spouses, presenting problems in the application of these provisions in court practice. The marriage has the effect in creating property relations between the spouses and their regulation is inevitable and on the other hand, the better these relations are regulated, the less problems the spouses will have in the event of the termination of the marriage. It is obvious that the regulation of property relations between spouses has not been the focus of the legislator because the laws issued in North Macedonia and Kosovo were issued many years ago, when the number of divorces was not very high. But with the change of economic relations of the market and with the emancipation of women this number is increasing and the demand for the regulation of property relations is increasing. For this reason, through this paper, legal gaps will be identified and recommendations for their improvement will be given. These recommendations will be given by making an in-depth analysis of the laws that regulate property relations between spouses in North Macedonia and Kosovo and their application in practice on the one hand while on the other hand a comparison will be made with several countries of Europe and USA. The methodology that will be used in this paper will be historical, analytical and comparative methods. From the analysis made and comparison with other countries of the world we will give recommendations for the improvement of the legal infrastructure. Above all the recommendations will be given in the importance of legal regulation of the family house which does not enjoy the necessary protection and the importance of incorporating the marriage contract in legislation, as an alternative for spouses to autonomously regulate their property relations. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, The relation between human resource management practices, supply chain management practices and competitive strategy as strategic instruments and their impact on organizational performance in manufacturing industry(Faculty of Economics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, 2021)Islami, XhavitDoing business in an increasingly turbulent marketplace requires integrating strategically sound choices (to increase the ability to survive, adapt and prosper despite dynamic changes) that go beyond organizational boundaries. Although, a strategic approach is essential to achieving a competitive advantage and improving organizational performance in a tumultuous environment, competition is no longer through a single strategic instrument but rather among a strategic chain of managerial choices. A perusal of the literature shows that a broad frame of references for organizational success is not adequately developed; it suffers from the absence of an integrative strategic model. Therefore, by taking an interdisciplinary approach with a relational perspective, this thesis takes an integrative and fresh approach toward illuminating the role of supply chain management practices and competitive strategy in realizing the potential influence of human resource management practices on organizational performance. Using the data obtained from 157 manufacturing organizations, it tests, examines and develops the mediating role of supply chain management practices and the moderating role of competitive strategy. The findings indicate a positive linkage between HRM practices and SCM practices, and a positive influence of HRM practices, SCM practices and two competitive strategies on organizational performance. In addition, the findings also show that SCM practices mediate the relationship between HRM practices and organizational performance. Although this research thesis could not provide significant evidence to show that competitive strategies moderate the direct effect of HRM practices and the mediation effect of SCM practices on organizational performance, it highlights that both SCM practices and competitive strategy are necessary to increase the actual value of HRM practices and achieve business success. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
Item type:Publication, Social networks impact on strategic human resources management. Case of recruitment process in the Republic of Kosovo. Case study: Kosovan enterprises(Faculty of Economics, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, Skopje, 2020)Dragusha, BlerimIn the modern world information technology especially internet is rapidly changing the way individuals interact in the real world in the labor force market. Social Networks (SN) has invaded our daily lives. Human resources management has also taken its share of these changes. Employers have begun using social networks for getting information about job candidates. Information provided by Social Networks about personal and professional life of potential job candidates made Social Networks as an important tool for recruiters. In the Republic of Kosovo social networks are not an official part of the selection but their influence on the recruitment process is very evident. This study aims to give more light to the use of social networks in recruitment practices. Social Networks can provide a readily available recruitment source for future employers and can be used as a source of recommendation for applicants. This research is focused on how Social Networks affects on Strategic Human Resource Management in the Recruitment Field. In the global aspect but also in Republic of Kosovo, there are ongoing researches for persuading the Recruitment Process. - Some of the metrics are blocked by yourconsent settings
