Abstract: The book chapter is a country report on the legal perspectives of gender equality in Macedonia, covering an in-depth analysis of : a) the national legal framework and compliance with the EU gender equality legislation; b ) the national policy framework regarding gender equality; c) the national institutional framework on gender equality; d) the gender equality in legal education, including gender distribution at the Faculty of Law "Iustinianus Primus", University SS Cyril and Methodius in Skopje; e) gender distribution in the legal professions and the gender bias in judiciary training programmes.
