Abstract
The purpose of the paper is to measure the efficiency of fifteen European countries in tourism over the period 2004-2013 using the Window analysis technique. Sample includes destinations which are competitors on the international tourism market. Two inputs are selected and they are: visitor exports and domestic travel and tourism spending, while travel and tourism total contribution to GDP and travel and tourism total contribution to employment are outputs. The results have been obtained using the software package DEA-Solver-Pro 7.0. According to them, there is no country that is efficient in every year in every window, and the least efficient country is Montenegro.
