Abstract: A ribozyme is an RNA molecule which acts like an enzyme, i.e. it is able to catalyze chemical reactions. In this paper we will apply a view toward ribozymes based on both robotics and systems software metaphor. The first and second discovered ribozymes are discussed using these metaphors. The contribution of these metaphors in modification of the central dogma in genetics is pointed out.
