Abstract
The court statistics regarding the number of cases оr labour
disputes in front of competent courts in the Republic of North Macedonia,
inevitably show that there is a need for fundamental reforms in labour
process legislation. Need for fundamental reforms in the labour process
legislation requires the number of court cases in the area of labour relations
or labour disputes in front of courts, and their constantly increase from the year
to year. That high number, in a large extent, reduces the quality of court
procedures and the orthodoxy or the quality of court decisions in the area
of labour disputes. In consideration also we must have to take the time
duration of labour disputes, which contributes to a large extent contributes
to the impossibility of efficient and effective protection of employment rights.
The reform of labour process legislation can take place in the following
directions: Creation of special courts for labour disputes, strengthening
existing labor dispute departments, promotion of peaceful settlement of
labour disputes and prediction of the legal preventive measured to prevent
furute labour disputes.
