dc.description.abstractA study is realized regarding the Macedonian legislation approach for the definition of “games of chance” as well as the conditions for establishing, functioning and supervision of the betting shops. A reference is made to the rules for use of games of chance funds aimed at financing of sport activities. Also, a comparison is provided concerning of Macedonian sports betting and funding legislation and practice with the European Union tendencies. Conclusions are presented regarding the implementation of the Law of Games on Chance and Lotteries.en_US
