dc.description.abstractThe environment within which a Corporation operate is dynamic. External and internal forces are constantly changing the rules of the game, and the corporations’ must amends or adopt new strategies to remain competitive. A change in strategy will determine the direction of each function within the organisation, including the Human Resource Management Function. The thesis examines the TNC as a holder of the globalisation process, and explores the history and practice of Human Resource Management in TNC. The major goals are to lay foundation for the strategic approach of human resource management and its interrelation with the corporate strategy and also to demonstrate that in today’s complex business environment, a strategic approach to human resource management is a necessity. The analysis of the current situation and positioning of human resource management in major companies in the Republic of Macedonia, answering the question whether the true role it is understood, according to the new trends in the environment in which they operate and work or the role is still proforma and trendsetting. The PDR system is developed that is used in an international company located in the Republic of Macedonia. The system of monitoring the development of employees is a strategic partner of the business plans of large and successful corporations. Through the succession plans and rapid development of career advancement of the most capable people, the best caliber staff for key positions is provided in these corporations. The purpose of this system of monitoring the development of the employees which actually is a management tool is measuring the progress against organizational agenda as well as the abilities and potential of employees to support and ensure the development, expansion and achievement of the business plans of each affiliate, part of the transnational corporation. The stages of the Process of Evaluating the Performance of Employees is elaborated, their Potential and Readiness, Preparation of the Development Plans, Career Plans and Succession Plans for Key Positions.en_US
