dc.description.abstractThe subject of research of this paper is storytelling as a condition for proper speech and creative expression of children through analysis of the latest Macedonian storytelling production from the first two decades of the twenty-first century. The stories and storytelling are a condition for proper speech and creative expression in children’s life. In order to achieve the ideals - correct speech and creative expression in the lives of youngest, one should invest in the quality of: creative teaching, orthography, culture of speaking, speech, reading, learning, retelling, and all this in line with the latest achievements - electronic growth and digitalization, in the face of the crisis and stagnation of print editions. The results of the survey research prove that the roles of: educators, teachers, parents, and the personal engagement of children and students are pivotal. The latest Macedonian short story as a genre is present, attractive and important, but it is necessary to enrich, actualize and modernize it. The story plays an essential role in the overall development of the youngest.en_US
