| dc.description.abstract | PURPOSE OF THE STUDY: The purpose of this study is to take a closer look at how Albanian youth in the city of Tetovo communicate with each other. How much they respect the standard of the Albanian language, knowing that 49 years have passed since was approved the Spelling Congress, in 1972, in Tirana. Through this research we have tried to clarify the language problems faced by the young people of this country, who present many difficulties in standard communication, they also communicate in a language which in addition to the dialect variant itself contains many new lingusistic feeds such as foreign words and itself contains many new feeds linguistic such as foreign words and the creation of motivational phraseological expressions, where from free sentences they have created phraseological units. The treatment of this topic is quite current, because through this research we observe the language in the sociolinguistic aspect how it is treated by the new generations. STUDY METHODS: The methods used in this study are: descriptive, experimental and natural methods. These methods are not only used separately from each other, but in some cases they are also used together. The combination of these methods created advantages and avoided disadvantages. The experimental method was done by looking at the language interactions of young people, along with it was used descriptive method, which described language interactions and finally we used the natural method, where the data are collected without any conditions on the respondents. For this paper we surveyed 500 young people, of which 345 where girls and 155 where boys. OBJECT OF STUDY: The object of study in this research is the language used by young people. This language is part of the Gegërisht dialect, but in this spoken form we do not encounter only the dialectal or regional variant, here we notice many uses which are part of foreign languages, expressions that are created for close social communication, i.e a language that is changing, but is far from the standard of the Albanian language, noticing to a large extent orthographic and orthoepic omissions. STRUCTURE OF THE RESEARCH: This research is realized in five chapters that contain other sub-chapters. For this research, a survey was conducted with high school and university students, through this we approached the language that they use in communication. An appendix has been presented where only a few short folklore materials have been introduced to see how this generation has grown up, that is now heading towards an amazing modernization who also try to modernize the language. | en_US |
