Abstract
Because the diagnosis of autism rests on the specific qualitatively distinct abnormalities in reciprocal social interaction, communication, and patterns of behavior, a systematic parental account, and a systematic observation of the individual, focusing on the diagnostically distinctive feauters is crucial. Most misdiagnoses of autism stem from reliance on a general pattern of impairment in social functioning and communication. An important first step, however, is to have an accurate assessment of current intellectual level and language skills, because it is necessary to determine whether the child’s behavior is appropriate for their overall level of functioning. Differential diagnosis comprises the discrimination of autism from other conditions that lead to abnormalities in language, play, and social development. The aim of article is to shown other developmental diseases, syndromes and pathological conditions which is similar with autistic disorder.
