Abstract: One approach to familiarize students with multimedia technology is to give them the task to develop a practical multimedia application. In the course Multimedia technology held at our Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at Ss. Cyril and Methodius University, the students work on teamwork project. In this paper we describe the types of projects the students worked on during the last six years, with focus on the advantages and weaknesses of the different project types we have experience with. Moreover, we give detailed statistical analysis of the students' scores and grades for the course exams as well as an appropriate interpretation of the obtained results.
