Abstract: <jats:p>In bis(2-hydroxyethylammonium) oxalate, 2C<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>H<jats:sub>8</jats:sub>NO<jats:sup>+</jats:sup>·C<jats:sub>2</jats:sub>O<jats:sub>4</jats:sub><jats:sup>2−</jats:sup>, hydrogen bonds involving the hydroxy and ammonium groups connect the carboxyl O atoms of the oxalate anion into a three-dimensional network structure.</jats:p>
