Abstract: The astronomical alignments of the peak sanctuary Kokino are undoubtedly connected with the cult practise of the Bronze Age people in the region. The simple calendars were based on the periodical motion of the sun and stars for the purpose of following the vegetation cycles and arranging agricultural activities. These cosmological beliefs of the renewal of the nature are still part of the contemporary folklore tradition of the local population.
