As a characteristic domain of the whole literary and cultural inheritance, children’s literature represents one of the most authentic and disturbing scientific challenges, albeit literary theory places it with reserve in the central genre complex. The uniqueness of this literature is based on its recipient – the supposed reader, which does not exclude the importance of this literary domain. We can verify the function of this artistic chronotope (as defined by Mikhail Bakhtin) by disintegration of severe genre classifications, by outliving the narrow esthetics which turned the alleged trivial genres away, thus analyzing the artistic mode and methods of Jadranka Vladova and Zhivko Chingo. This implementation outlines the chronotope’s specifics, as well as its predominance in representing the historical category – genre.en_US
