Abstract: Neural networks have a wide spectrum of application in different fields of human life and they can be used for solving numerous problems, such as: management of production processes, economic and financial analyses, prognostic models, prediction of time, optimization, prediction of market value etc. The positive aspects of artificial neural networks can be also applied in civil engineering, for prediction and prognostic modeling, project management, planning, optimization and decision making process.
