dc.description.abstract | Urinary incontinence is uncontrolled leakage of urine. Its incidence is increasing and its treatment is expensive, however often not efficient. The paper reviews existing findings of genetic effects, effects of environment and lifestyle on occurrence of urinary incontinence. The development of personalized medicine assisted by information and communication technology is of great importance for the assessment of risk of developing urinary incontinence, as well as achieving better health. There are already smartphone applications that are focusing on some segments of personalized therapy and rehabilitation, such as tracking condition or providing exercising support. In this paper we are proposing the digital support framework that tackles all addressed issues under control of the user. The introduced connected health model of a new mobile application has gathered the most helpful functionalities that are supported by medical evidence. | en_US |
