In this paper we address the issue of user cooperation in grid projects. We assume that the users are rational, i.e. their actions are strictly determined by self interest and not by the global worthy goal. With this paper we propose a way of attracting and preserving the nodes in the grid environment taking into account the expected benefit of the node and the grid, while incorporating the network influence.en_US
