Macedonian folk dances are composed of fast-paced movements where the movement of legs is dominant compared to other parts of the body. In this paper we introduce several characteristic attributes, derived from the dancer’s lower body position data, which are used for mathematical modeling of dances. Studying the values of these attributes for a given period facilitates the process or recognition of Macedonian dances.en_US
