dc.description.abstractThe court statistics regarding the number of cases оr labour disputes in front of competent courts in the Republic of North Macedonia, inevitably show that there is a need for fundamental reforms in labour process legislation. Need for fundamental reforms in the labour process legislation requires the number of court cases in the area of labour relations or labour disputes in front of courts, and their constantly increase from the year to year. That high number, in a large extent, reduces the quality of court procedures and the orthodoxy or the quality of court decisions in the area of labour disputes. In consideration also we must have to take the time duration of labour disputes, which contributes to a large extent contributes to the impossibility of efficient and effective protection of employment rights. The reform of labour process legislation can take place in the following directions: Creation of special courts for labour disputes, strengthening existing labor dispute departments, promotion of peaceful settlement of labour disputes and prediction of the legal preventive measured to prevent furute labour disputes.en_US
